My Planted Tanks
Before I had killies, my love was for planted tanks. These images are a record of the various aquascapes in my big tank (50"X26"X26") and my small one (24"X20"X20") from 1997 to 2002.

My very first aquascape. Those were the days when I first discovered CO2 injection. The goal then was to use up every single square centimetre of real estate in the tank by planting as many plants as possible. In those days, I kept Discus.
Then I had Altum Angels. They were majestic fishes but are impossible to breed in captivity.
A lively tank with mostly fast-growing stem plants. This was my first attempt at growing a Christmas Moss wall.
The moss wall remains but the aquascape has undergone a complete revamp. Back to slow-growing plants as fast growing ones involve too much work.
Another major revamp of the aquascape with the moss wall still intact.
My smaller tank with Christmas Moss growing on driftwood as the centrepiece.
A heavily planted tank with Crypts in the fore and background. |
