As its name implies, a truly magnificent fish. The Simp magnificus is a peat diver. I have many bags of their eggs but have not hatched a single fry yet. Ronnie Lee gave me my first pair. They are very good jumpers and I found the male four tanks away from its original tank when I accidentally left a small gap on the cover.
